Many of the congregational hymn arrangements and other pieces listed in our catalog are the result of commissions by
churches or individuals who had a special musical need.
The cost of a commission is completely dependent on the size and scope of the project, so please contact us to discuss the details and we will determine a price. For reference, a typical festive brass/organ/timpani arrangement of a hymn tune for congregational singing usually costs around $750. The copyright remains with the composer, but the commissioner will have perpetual live performance rights. Recording and broadcast rights will need to be negotiated separately.
